Windows 7 phone OS to come with 3D gaming

There is finally some weighty news about the Windows 7 phone operating system that’s likely to be announced in the not-so-far future. It seems the Microsoft have done their part to accelerate the 3D APIs in the series. There will be integration of Visual Studio 2010 and buffered audio support. Thanks to the XNA Game Studio 4.0 will help integration with Xbox 360. Finally, the big news is that Microsoft has also accelerated the 3D APIs on the new platform. 3D gaming is ever needed in the mobile platform and this one will satisfy that hunger to good measure.

Another improvement is the Gamer Services API that will help you pull in any user’s Gamertag and 2D Avatar to his mobile for a better experience.
